"My kids are loving these, my youngest doesn't say ouch anymore when brushing!"
The bristles are super soft, but still lasts a long time despite my kid biting on them constantly. At the end I just snap off the head throw in the garbage and toss the handle into the compost bin.
Hi Taras - we're happy you're teaching your kids about good habits already!!!
I'm an adult and I find the child's size bamboo toothbrush is soft enough for sensitive teeth, and small enough for me. I find children's size toothbrushes do a better job on my teeth.....gets into all the grooves, etc!
Hi Michelle - Happy that you're finding the perfect toothbrush! Good feedback!
My kids are loving these, my youngest doesn't say ouch anymore when brushing (plastic was too hard for her mouth I think). Only downside is I wish there was a band or something to put around them to separate for multiple kids, as right now I've had to put a marker spot on the handles so my kids aren't sharing a toothbrush. We love that we can just throw them in the compost though!!
Hi Tashawna! Stoked that your kids are enjoying brushing their teeth with our bamboo toothbrush! Thanks for the feedback, we'll keep that in mind for the future. Make sure to take off the bristles before putting the handle in the compost. Thanks for doing your part in reducing plastic consumption!
These bamboo toothbrushes are great! Saves so much waste in my household. We bought 12 of these for a years supply. Just imagine if millions of people did this simple switch!
Thanks for making the switch Tom! :) Keep sharing and eventually millions of people will make the switch.
This Bamboo Toothbrush is one of my favourites. I have been using it for a bit now as I received one at The Vancouver Christmas Market. The bristles are so soft and clean much better than a regular toothbrush. You don’t need to brush as hard to receive the same level of clean. Once you’re finished, pull out the bristles and throw your handle right in your compost bin. These brushes are available for both adults and children.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our products, Kimberley! It means a ton to us for you to share your opinion with others who are interested in the same items.

Bristle Type: Soft
End of Life
Typical Life Span: 3-4 months*
When it’s time to retire your child's toothbrush, simply cut or pull out the bristles and throw them away; the rest of the handle can be discarded in your compost bin.
*Life span will vary based on frequency of use, aggressiveness of the brusher, storage conditions, etc.
Billions of plastic toothbrushes end up in the landfill each year where they take upwards of 450 years to start to break down.
How To Use
- Wet your bamboo toothbrush.
- Tap off all excess water.
- Dip the corner of your bamboo toothbrush into your life UNpacked tooth powder. *Less is more - You don’t need much.
- Brush like normal, spit, and rinse. *Be careful not to swallow. (Brushing pulls toxins from your teeth and gums and it's best not to re-ingest those!)
*The most all natural option for bristles on the market right now is boar hair, and that to us is a bit out there. There is presently no option for biodegradable bristles, however, our bristles are BPA-free meaning they won't leach toxins.
