When it’s time to retire your toothbrush, simply cut or pull out the bristles and throw them away; the rest of the handle can be discarded in your compost bin.

In the unlikely event you need to dispose of your glass tooth powder container, unscrew the lid from the body, recycle the body and lid insert, and compost the lid.

Billions of plastic toothbrushes end up in the landfill each year where they take upwards of 450 years to start to break down.

Regular plastic toothpaste tubes can technically be recycled, but sadly very few people go to the effort to rinse them out, meaning they almost always end up in the landfill.

Glass tooth powder containers replace the need for plastic toothpaste tubes and allow you to refill and reuse instead.

Nylon dental floss.

Traditional dental floss is usually made from either nylon (petroleum), teflon (the chemical mouthful polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)), or synthetic wax (petroleum).

These toxins can be absorbed into your bloodstream during those times that you floss a little too hard, or it’s been, say, longer than the suggested three times a day since your last floss.

Discarded dental floss cannot be recycled, takes 30-80 years to break down, and can be harmful to wildlife.

Glass floss containers replace the need for plastic dental floss containers and allow you to refill and reuse instead.

1. Wet your bamboo toothbrush.
2. Tap off all excess water.
3. Dip the corner of your bamboo toothbrush into your life UNpacked tooth powder.

*Less is more - You don’t need much.

1. Brush like normal, spit, and rinse.

*Be careful not to swallow. (Brushing pulls toxins from your teeth and gums and it's best not to re-ingest those!)Toothpowder with Glass Container

1. Unscrew the lid.

*Be careful as you do this to prevent spilling the powder. It is best to open the container in a vertical position with the bamboo lid facing up.

1. Wet your life UNpacked bamboo toothbrush.
2. Tap off all excess water.
3. Dip the corner of your toothbrush into the tooth powder.

*Less is more - You don’t need much.

1. Brush like normal, spit, and rinse.

*Be careful not to swallow. (Brushing pulls toxins from your teeth and gums and it's best not to re-ingest those!)*Keep your container for future refills. Floss with Glass Container

1. Pull out about 18 inches of floss, cut on the lid of the container.
2. Wind the floss around your fingers (no need to get all tangled!).
3. Slide floss gently up and down between your teeth.

*Take care around your gum line.

1. At the gum line, curve floss into a C-shape against your tooth and gently slide into the space between the gum and your tooth.
2. Repeat for each tooth.
3. Cheese to check out those pearly whites.

*Keep your container for future refills.

If you ordered a tooth powder container: Your tooth powder will be shipped inside. Keep this container and use it again and again.

If you did not order a tooth powder container: Your tooth powder will be shipped in a compostable paper bag that can be thrown into your compost bin.

Floss with Glass Container

Your floss will be shipped inside. Keep this container and use it again and again. The floss and container will be shipped in a biodegradable box. This packaging can be thrown into your recycle bin.
